In 2006, Amore Pet Care was founded by Erin Smith and her husband Michael. As a
traveling professional, Erin realized the anxiety and stress that can come from you and
your pet when separation occurs. Few things can be as stressful and saddening to a
pet as being taken to an unfamiliar place and left. The solution: let your pets stay in
their own home. Recognizing this in her own pets, she and Michael founded Amore
Pet Care.
We hired Amore Pet Care that same year to care for our own pets, Hewitt and
Penelope. Each having very particular personalities and physical needs, taking them
to a traditional boarding facility was out of the question. We learned that in-home pet
sitting was the answer. Being able to remain in our home while we were away, our
animals were always happy when we returned, our home was safe, and our lives
were stress-free. Since then, we have adopted 4 more “kids” and find our love for all
animals continues to grow every day.
We have had the tremendous fortune of being able to carry on that tradition of care
and love by becoming the new owners of Amore Pet Care. Simply put; we commit to
you that you will continue to receive the same uncompromising level of service that
you have come to expect from our staff. It is our goal that our clients continue to trust in
us and know that your animals, as well as your home, are receiving the absolute best
care available, anywhere!
